Coca-Cola has been a quintessential part of my life since forever. My friendship with the Amity Girl Gang began in college over Coca-Cola. After my first, hassle-laden day at college coupled with Delhi’s heat, I remember rushing to the coke studio for some “Thanda”. One such day, while waiting for my Coca-Cola, I met them and our friendship began over a shared bottle of Coke.
Sipping bottles and counting competitions, we made infinite memories, gossiping and cherishing our friendship and our infinite love for Coke. The next three years were full of attendance struggles, assignments, lectures, stress and headaches. In all these times, Coca-Cola became a tradition. Whether in worries or happiness, it became a trademark of our love and friendship. Our fondness for Coca-Cola is because of the feeling of comfort it carries and freshness it brings. Coke is a co-partner to all my meals every day and a panacea for all ills.
I feel that the wide-spread affection for coke is not just due to its phenomenal taste (its formula is one of the most well-guarded secrets in the world). It’s rather a much sought after emotion. One such upcoming trend is Coca-Cola caps and t-shirts with the stylish cherry red attraction of style.
In 2015, the brand came up with an adorable advertisement featuring Alia Bhatt and Siddharth Malhotra as a newly married love-stricken couple, which I totally related to as a bride sharing the same love for Coca-Cola.
All over the globe, Coca-Cola is omnipresent as a drink for every occasion. The mere thought of a world without its existence seems just impossible and incomplete! Going ahead, Coca‑Cola’s history has got a lot of bottle – more than 115 years’ worth. The brand has the potential to double its sales and continue its growth journey, creating and spreading smiles and happiness across nations.
